So true! I have a large variety in my music choices. When I play Leonard Cohen, Mr. JR has to leave the room!!!! I can't understand why. But then again, he likes Zappa sometimes and I have to leave the room!Cil said:
I like Bruce, the man, the songwriter, well enough...but what keeps me from really digging it is...I kid you not...his use of the Glockenspeil! Always with the Glockenspiel! (That's that xylophony-bell-like thingie that's in all his songs, such as the intro to Born To Run.) It turns his rock songs into nursery rhymes, for me, anyway. I've never owned a Bruce album. Maybe he lost or broke his Glock since the 80s, I should give the new album a listen. ;-)
