Grayt report Alli! I'm always amazed at how tall the palms are in Cali. I love the ocean pics. Looks like you had good weather. I've also flown over the Grand Canyon but have never been there. I flew over at sunrise and it cast the most beautiful colors I've ever seen on the canyons.

Great trip report Alli. You certainly know how to have a good time.
It looks like we all need to plan a trip to the Grand Canyon since most of us haven't been there, of course if we weren't such beach people maybe we would have made the trip before now. Grand Canyon - Ocean . . Grand Canyon - Ocean. Ocean seems to win everytime.

The dealio is the airlines need to learn to fly on vacation time. You know like put departure at 5 pm, but leave at 6 or so. Never understood this.

Excellent report!!! What were your impressions of the Ivy's food?Now, what is it about you getting to the airport late, not once but twice???
We only had an appetizer...crab salad and it was fresh and wonderful!

The first time was my fault, the second time was stupidity...should have been there 2 hours early! International fliers should have been there3 hours early!

No, there was really no reason to get upset...nothing to be done about it so I just went with the flow, plus I had some good books to read...which I love doing but never seem to have the time!
