I use Firefox as my default browser and since my regular radio station (WJRGFM, 93.7) has had a "hostile takeover" I've been trying to stream radio shows. Every time I try to stream on Firefox, it crashes. Have no idea why. Help anyone?

And...not quite the same subject, but what exactly is a "hostile takeover"....

Are you getting any sort of an error message that you could offer us?

I noticed WRJM was off the air a few days ago. Did not know why. Maybe someone called the note or the United States of America Corporation put the word out on them.

What is the website?

If they are using Flash to stream the audio stream it is a known issue between Firefox and the Adobe Flash plug-in. The issue is in development and should be corrected with the next Firefox release.

I read the documents. In my opinion, the short version, Citizens Bank is or has foreclosed on the station for not paying them. The legal document posted appears to me to be trying to use the argument that Federal Reserve Notes have no value and since the bank sold the original note and can not produce it they were not damaged so the bank is not owed and it is all a conspiracy to seize the station. If you ever listened to Tim Turner on Monday nights at 5PM, this document appears to be putting forth some of his theories about this country. It all starts with Mizel saying he is a sovereign instead of a citizen of this country.

I still have bizarre things happen with Firefox, too--strange crashes on certain websites. One of them is USA today (I like their crossword puzzles!) I get a popup that gets past the blocker that tells me to download a virus-protector, and the only two option boxes they give me are "ok" and "continue." If I try to close the message box, it locks me into that window and I have to force quit.

The last time I called Apple, I asked about it, and he told me that Firefox was very safe and to just avoid those websites until the technology catches up; he didn't tell me to go back to Safari, which I thought was interesting!

But if I have a website that doesn't work well on Firefox, I open it in Safari...problem solved? :dunno:
