the deer leveled ALL my tulips even though I sprayed them before I left, they ate all the new growth. :sosad:

I have nothing left except for daffodils and grape hyacinths.
I should have come home to a spread of beautiful colors, but NO, those buggers left me with nubs.

Had I known I would have have stayed here with a pellet gun to defend my crop.

What if it was a little orphaned Bambi that lost it's mother and was really, really hungry? :D ;-)

If its a baby then it's a megadondeer since the hoof prints are huge.
Big enough to reach the car pedal.

Last summer I lost all my asiatic lilies that multiplied over 12 years to a mole. Thank god I didn't find him, probably died from overeating and living large all winter.

bummer mangy... I advise you to not waste any more time, money or sweat on gardening and take extra naps instead. oh, and feed the deer.

seriously, my dad feeds deer in his back yard every single day. they have a herd out there feeding each evening at dusk. they occasionally nibble the plants, but not usually. of course, feeding the deer will keep 'em coming so you may not want that...
