Where Free Speech Is Allowed
WRobert I'm not sure if this is what your talking about but I'll give it a try. The Red Bar gets permission or what ever to go past the noise ordinance on certain holidays. An example would be New Years Th of July etc. so as they can stay open till AM instead of 12. I have always wondered how grayton beach etc. can make the rules for one area an not the whole county, district etc. :dunno:

I believe it is along the same lines as the 50ft height restriction for South Walton.

The Grayton zone is different than the rest of the south end of the county in regards to noise.

Sort of what I was talking about. But they do file paperwork to get it done, they just do not go and do it.

But now it really doesn't matter. Rapunzel, Aleonard, and ShallowsNole just want to talk about me being nekkid. I did ShallowsFuzz a favor and took ShallowsNole off his hands for one evening. I was the sober one so I am pretty sure it was not a big deal, but you know how them girls get in their little groups and talk. Now it seems I am developing a reputation.

So pick a less exciting ordinance to violate. Not many places in SoWal to get nekkid anymore anyway. :ninja:

Robert, I notice your first post is quite different from the title of the thread. Are we talking about ignoring laws, or temporarily suspending laws through a legal process?

Speaking of getting permission, the BCC is considering altering County Code to address smaller events.

Seaside also requested permission at today's BCC meeting to host the Jazz Festival which starts in two days.

Well the comment was made on another thread, yes that is where I was ultimately heading, that the whole festival should just be ignored since it was such a great benefit and it was only one weekend and everyone knew about it way in advance.

I was kind of following that line of thought and wondered just how far we should take things?
