I have hung up on 12 robo calls so far today.
My favorite "caller id" didn't have numbers just said
"VERY IMPORTANT"

Let me know if you top 12:D

Make that 13
Make it 14

Yep
Do you know how to block political calls on land lines? I don't have a clue. They are the only advertisement "stuff" I get.

I wish that I did know how to block them. I lost track of the number that I received today, but I just got another one while I was typing this.:sosad:

Right here!
Apparently politics is exempt from telemarketing laws - go figure.

I was wondering the same thing. When they put together that 'do not call list' bill a few years ago, we probably should have demanded political action calls be excluded too. (Although I doubt even if we had that language would have made it into the final bill!)

Somehow they got my cell number, so I've been getting a double whammy. Between the phone calls and the mailbox stuffed with mud, I don't ever remember it being this bad. What is wrong with these people??? I am dreading tomorrow, that I actually have to vote for any of them.

I feel totally left out. Lots in the mail box but only two calls in the last week. Its pure hell to be ignored.
