Believe it or not, Mrs. Singinchicken and I used to be competitive ballroom dancers at the gold level. We did competitions all over until two car wrecks took care of Mrs. SC's neck and back. We dance for fun, now, but the competitions are done. Here are a couple shots. Click on 'em for a bigger shot!

This is from a show we did about 5 years ago. Actually, the same show that produced my imfamous "Fair Maiden' shot!



An this is from '96, I believe, at the Carolina Star Ball in Greenville, SC. It was about 25 pounds ago and less the beard that you all know me to have!



I highly recommend ballroom lessons for any couple out there! It's a total blast!

While in college, a girlfriend convinced me to go to a ballroom dancing class with her. I went once. The instructors were all men.

She sat there laughing hysterically while this dude twirled me around all over the place. Never again. Never.
