Your way sounds good, Skipper.
Some like it mushy. I don't like cooked cabbage at all.
But I end up cooking a lot of stuff I don't care for. ;-)

give it a try...it is yummy!!! Cook it in crock for about 5 hours...if you add cabbage I put it in for the last hour or so...I like my cabbage not to crisp, not too soft...just right...goldie locks:D :lol:
