Larry King Live tonight discussed the health hazards of cell phone use and RF frequencies. I thought that this issue had been taken care of. :bang:

Panel members discussed the increase in incidence of brain tumors among those who use a cell phone pressed to the ear. They also mentioned low sperm counts in men who keep a cell phone in their pockets. (So what about reproductive organ issues for women who keep a cell phone in the pockets of their jeans? :dunno:) They suggested the use of ear buds or Bluetooth to keep cell phones away from ones head.

They also discussed the danger of portable phones in the home due to the studies of the effects of RF frequencies on a human being.

Not to mention the studies of injuries/death due to auto accidents caused by cell phone use.

Thank goodness I have Bluetooth connection in my car. Now I just have to remember to use earbuds or speakerphone when I'm not in my car. :bang:

So they don't want us to keep them against our ear or in our pockets. Where do they suggest we place the phone while we are using bluetooth headset?

This was coincidentally all over the news the past few days. All of the tests that they talked about said that it was inconclusive...

Yes, cell phones are very bad for you - especially in a car, theater, or a restaurant where they combine with the other electronics to be more dangerous.

Only safe thing to do is turn them off or keep them several feet away. ;-)
