OR... The county could have a system to ensure VRBO's all pay their TDC Tax and have some Rules / Regs to control OCCUPANCY!!!

Occupancy... Would controlling how many people safely can stay in a unit, house, condo, help with the over-crowded beaches, lack of parking and general chaos going one???

Maybe a business license would also cull out some of the problem too...

But no, lets just try to take private property and some State Park beach...

you mean all VRBO's don't pay the 12% tax they charge back to the county 4.5% and state 7.5%?

Who you call oddball? You the oodball. Oddball!
It is odd of you to say that. You look oddly like a long lost poster...are you related to k2d2b2? or are you simply a typo?

Damn, I missed all the fun.

Hate to belabor the point but took a beach walk today from Grayton to just past Gulf Place. Along the way there were sporadic beach company set ups which were mostly occupied. Just past Ed Walline a company that has Royal blue umbrellas had set up twenty-four beach chairs with umbrellas right on the front line of the beach. Only eight of the twenty-four set ups were occupied. This has got to stop. The BCC has got to come up with a SOLUTION for this beach grab by these chair companies. Ridiculous!

In all fairness, I feel sure the area to which you refer is Adagio. They set up numerous chairs and umbrellas for their guests and owners every single day. This is nothing new. They consider it "their" beach and they can do as they wish on it, At any rate, if this is the area to which you refer, it is not a grab by beach vendors. It is authorized and condoned by Adagio management, I am told.

No, it was not Adagio.
