Mr. / Mrs. Jensky, what do you think about the group ANTIFA?

So are Neo Nazis spouting racial and ethnic hatred and worse the same as the people taking to the streets saying black lives matter and Jewish people have equal rights?

I didn't know it is a group and heard the other day that it is an abbreviation for anti-fascist. I think fascism is bad. Nazis are bad. Anyone who stands against Nazis has courage. Anyone trying to defend Nazis or deter those who do is either a Nazi or a coward. possibly both.

A question for discussion about and because of this thread: Let's say that what Poppaj says about white supremacist groups at #28 is truth, and I happen to believe he is correct, what do we as citizens of the United States do about such groups?
Are we not the same people who demanded laws so that they have a right to their beliefs, even when is clashes with others?

How/where do we draw a new line that speech is one thing (verbal only?) and when it crosses some line into something else such as hate or violence?

I don't have the answers. It would be good discussion to hear solutions others may have thought about.

My opinion. The line needs to be somewhere between where it is and when it hurts others. (May need to define "hurt" as part of the discussion)

Law enforcement has always kept hate groups mostly under control. Maybe not so much anymore now that bigotry ok from the white house?

First thing I would do in my town is outlaw weapons at public gatherings. Also would try to keep to areas where it's possible to restrict vehicles.

When someone gets killed by the Nazis in America, that's the salient point the President needs to immediately and unequivocally address with condemnation. He failed miserably on Saturday, and he's still failing.

I can only assume you purposely left out "Ms." and "Mx." If so then this is Truly astounding barefaced bigotry. While it isn't the first time I've seen such overt insults on message boards it ranks up there with the most egregious of incidents.
That said on to important matters--
Mr. / Mrs./ Ms./ Mx. Jensky, what do you think about the super group ABBA? And your thoughts on this are also welcomed Mrs./ Ms./ Mx. John G. Thanks in advance!

Agree it's wrong and of course there are a few extreme far leftist that believe in violence, but on the scales of hate and violence the far right massively outweighs the left. Both sides are not equal here.

This squarely falls in the no s--- category.

Let's not forget the biggest false equivalence of all. Trump is affiliated ith the group that is responsible for the death of the young women. He is vehementy racist, fascist, and for all intents and purposes, a Nazi. His campaign was kicked off with vile bigoted rants in which he questioned the place of birth of our former president. If you can see things from his point of view, you too might be one of them.

The President who believes Mexicans are bad hombres and rapists and Muslim immigrants want to kill us now says there are some good Nazis in the US. Has anyone ever witnessed any other man as obsessed with being liked as this f**king clown? Remember, it has been reported he receives a twice daily file full of flattering headlines and articles to boost his ego.
