JamBone is tasty. If you want to head even a little further north, Delta Kitchen just south of Freeport on 331 is a regular occurrence with us.

Seafood - if you do find yourself at the seafood market at Goatfeathers, go ahead and let them steam the shrimp for you. And pick up a container of their cocktail sauce. Fresh shrimp isn't cheap anywhere, but let them make it worth it for you.

Edit - just be sure to take the garbage with the shrimp shells out ASAP...

LOVE me some DELTA KITCHEN!!! y'all go up and support forrest up there only 4 miles north of the causeway!! he cooks REAl food fresh from scratch and VERY affordable. he works every day and busts his booty and has a cool bar and pool table next door now too.

go FoHo!!

The Nacho Monster from JamBone is good for three meals for this Critter. Now that's a deal!

Haven't been there, but someone told me Seagrove Market Cafe is a yummy bargain.

Yeah it is. However, my only experience is at lunch. The prices go up for dinner, but my assumption (yes, I know) is that the portions do as well.

One bite into a grouper sandwich from the Village Market and you'll totally forget, for a little while, the troubles of this world.

Seagrove Market does a "frequent lunch" card. Buy 10 lunches, get one free. I tell you, as good as their grouper sandwich is, it's even better free.

I've got to be honest, my pallet isn't sophisticated enough to enjoy all of this fine food around her most of the time. I have eaten some wonderful meals along 30A since living in the area but they were usually followed by that aching feeling in my gut of...why did I pay that much for that???

Not knocking the great chefs of the area but some of these local establishments can be REAL pricey.

My "go to" place is Panhandler's. The food is awesome and the ambiance suits me to a T! hahaha!

Flip Flops

We have found Flip Flops to be a great value for the money spent. The burgers and po-boys are great - better than any others we have found in the 30A area! Give it a try for lunch or dinner - I bet you will not be disappointed!

Howdy, folks! My gang will be on our bi-yearly visit soon and we're even more wayward and destitute than usual. Can you share your ideas for best Grayton cheap eats? Yeah, yeah, Criollas and Bud and Alley's are great when somebody else is paying, but we're looking for great fish on a recession budget. What you got?

IMHO, Modica market has a great grouper sandwich - the best that I have had in the area! Also, we tried Barefoot BBQ Friday night and it was awesome!!!
