Maybe they'll build a SoWal world then you can kill two birds with one stone.
"It's a Sowal Afterall"............:rotfl:
Although I don't think that Disney ever will be able to top the charachters in Sowal.
Minnie we'll be talking real soon about that Disney trip.

I have NEVER been to Disney. Have wanted to go in October when the crowds ease, but it seems we always go to sowal. MANgo says that he'll take me, but he's a little afraid they might try to keep me, or that I might hide out in Never Never Land and live out my adult life there.

Mango, I read that and nearly cried.
Never been to Disney? Oh, be still my heart!

I first went to Disneyland in California when I was about 10 I think. I've not been back.
We then went to Disney World about a couple of years later and I hated it. I'm from Cleveland, and have been spoiled by Cedar Point and their RollerCoaster Collection. I thought all parks were like that. I was so bored with Disney World that I didn't go back until a half dozen years ago. Now I love it. I had lived here 17 years, less than six hours away from Disney, and never went back. Till October 2001.

It was a two weeks after 9/11. We (SterlingRose and I) paid for two nights at the Sports themed motel in Disney, and got one free admission each. We spent the first day at Disney and the next at Epcot.

There were NO LINES at Disney, we rode space mountain twice, back to back within minutes of each other. That will never happen again!
The next day at Epcot we had one of only 15 cars in the parking lot when we got there! I've got Pics! SR has pics of me being the only one going through the gate.

I've not been back to the parks, though I will, I miss it much, and will do Animal Kingdom next...But I've been back to the Disney Baseball Park for an Atlanta Braves Spring Training Game.

I would like to go back to the parks just to tour all the hotels. The heck with the rides. I love architecture, design and resorts. Thats what brought me to Seaside 23 years ago.

Last but not least. Minnie, thank you for coming on board. You are my new hero. I've loved everything you've posted. Your kind words and poetry have stolen my heart. Keep up the grayt posts!

Minnie, I am planning to go during Christmas, any suggestions?

The best time to go around the holidays is after Thanksgiving and before Christmas during the weekdays (Like the first week of December). We found that during the daytime we pretty much walked into most all the attractions (no lines) and used the Fast Pass with the more popular rides.

FYI- 2 years ago my brother and his kids went to the Magic Kingdom the day after Christmas and were turned away at 11:00am. The park was already at full capacity. To me going during this time is a waste of money. You won't get to ride many rides and the crowds are just crazy. It's more frustration than what it's worth. Our favorite time to go is late February also. It may be a litttle chilly but it's still warmer than Ohio. :)
