Christmas music already?

Anyone else hearing Christmas music already on a radio station where they live? 104.5 the River has been playing Christmas music all this week. Not even Thanksgiving yet. Usually don't hear it on that station until after Thanksgiving. What's the hurry?

I have friends who are listening to xmas music now. Not me. I like to wait til after Thanksgiving. Or even wait til Dec 1. And then I am totally ready to listen and celebrate!

Our daughter chose a Christmas song for her June wedding. Everyone remarked about how lovely it sounded. That being said, I want to enjoy Thanksgiving and fall colors until November 30. Then I'll switch gears to Christmas music, etc..

My wife started playing it this past week. She haas also started decorating. She wants to have the house done before next Friday when she decorates at her mother's house. It is a little early but I don't mind. I like the decorations and am sad when they come down in January.

I'm always sad in January too. The house seems so empty then. I tried keeping a tree up, but I ony made it til Valentines Day.
Y'all all know I love my Christmas music. I could listen all year!

Local 98.5 started playing Christmas music last week. Little early for me.

2 stations here in st. louis started playing 24/7 Christmas music on Nov. 1. Way too early IMO.

Heard a store in Destin playing some this last weekend. It made me want to come home and start decorating... but I've got to host Thanksgiving first
