OL, this is pretty nice. My youngest sister's two youngest children are 10 and almost 11 so I think they might enjoy this. They can be just like their Auntie Mermaid and play on the computer!

My 11-year-old and 9-year-old are addicted to this, also! It is the big thing for 6-12 year olds - I love how it is a safe place for them to be when online. And it's so cute - I guess at school they all say where they will be and all meet up online. I do have to say, though, it's a different day and age for kids - soooo different than when we were growing up, huh??

Dylan is 10 so I bet it will be right up their alley. This is too funny. Beachmom and I just set up a play date tomorrow for our boys at Club Penguin. :clap_1:

from what I can tell, you can set the level that they can chat at- the first level, they can only pick from Phrases to talk to each other, the next level they can talk, but no personal info can go through. He could not tell another Penguin his name or anything else about himself. Our "kid" computer here is in the family room, so I can look over his shoulder...always:D

It's funny, he hurries in from school some days, does his jobs asap, just so he can make his school friends his "buddies":rotfl:

The "free account" keeps them occupied for a while but then they want to buy different clothes and adopt a puffle, furnish their igloo etc... can you blame them? It's $5.95 per month or $29.95 for 6 months. That takes care of an ad free/pop up free safe environment.

Sounds like somethng Kimmifunn would like. Anything that involves buying new things...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
