So if this proposed restriction takes affect I guess it is a safe bet that county will be reducing the property taxes on properties affected to compensate for the loss of property value? Sounds like a time to engage a legal eagle...

Dumb questions. In the photos what is the meaning of the red shaded areas and the question marks? Are the red shaded areas already protected from development except for what has been grandfathered in? Are the question marks for areas where development is being considered to be allowed?

So after reviewing the information I have a couple of questions regarding the development Lake Place.

Assuming these are in effect or actually being enforced now with some proposed changes, how does it impact this development as well as homes on Western lake?

I thought I read the current regulations of an approved development supercede the general guidelines. Its obvious the 100 ft set back has not been observed in this development and most homes currently on Western lake. I also see a number of docks with vegetative clearing in Lake Place. So if you purchase an existing home and are trying to construct a dock under the development guidelines, what obstacles will you be fighting?

What if you are constructing a home on a Lake front lot? In Lake place it does not appear any of the homes are within a 100 ft buffer.
