Cobia?

Anyone having any luck finding Cobia yet?

I went out last weekend and didn't catch (or even see) any.

If so, where did you go and what's your technique?

I fish the West end of 30-A in the surf and we see a pile of boats out every day lately. See some bent rods out there on ocassion as well. They're all sight fishing naturally.

I see people using live eels and squid as bait. I saw a kid headed out in a kayak the other evening and he hooked on eels before heading out. We hung around a little while just to see what would have happened had he hooked up with a Cobia. He'd have gone for a ride.
