I am up at 2:30 instead of sleeping in my warm cozy bed. A nasty cold is brewing so I cannot sleep. Any remedies certain to make it go away? Do not want to spend the next week sick.

I'm with you. I want to rip my nose off- even when I am not sneezing, my nose is constantly on "verge of sneezing". Benedryl takes the edge off, but I can't take it during the day! Claritin has done absolutely nothing but give me 12 hours of zero relief. Found Vick's vapor rub last night and coated my nose - it was awesome! Felt like a little kid, but it worked, and I slept!

But there IS a bright side- we will not be sick on Christmas!

It really works. I was starting to get a cold a couple of weeks ago and started using Zicam and the airborne tablets that you dissolve in water. It took a couple of days but I never really got sick. I reccommend both!

My daughter has kind of a barky cough w/ a sore throat this morning. It's really bad news for her b/c she has asthma. We started on the inhaler this morning. My Mom is here from Florida and she's supposed to come to our house tomorrow. She should not be around sick people so I don't know if she'll come.

Extra Strength Benadryl at night--whoo hoo will that knock you out, and Airborne in the morning.

Airborne is available at Target, Publix, Walmart, and most drug stores. It works really well and tastes great too. And hey, Oprah had it on her show so you can't go wrong with that.

Yeah, after Oprah endorsed it last year, stores could not keep it on the shelves. It's alot easier to find this year than last and they came out with a generic brand too. It tastes like a fizzy orange drink. Not bad at all.

Thanks RO. I purchased Ziacam. Lots of choices nasal spary, gel. dissolvable tablets, mouth spray was my choice. Aside from the parched feeling after use, it is not too bad. And best of all, IT WORKS!!! :clap_1: I can see a big difference so now I cna enjoy the crazy week ahead of me. Plan on getting Airborne as well.
