I don't think we'd want that. Haven't you heard? Herschel has dissociative identity disorder, formerly known as multiple personality disorder. Don't think we'd want a politician with that, even many politicians exhibit multiple personalities (Hillary with her Southern accent in the South and drinking shots in PA, Barack in his "casual" attire with no tie or jacket, trying to look like one of the boys despite the fact that he still had on a dress shirt and suit pants).
Apparently Herschel has tried to "off" himself on many occasions. DID is incurable from what I've read; it can only be managed with meds and therapy.
