I too, have had many tests to get to the bottom, of my health issues. I had an ultrasound which found two Hemangioma Cysts, in my liver, CAT Scan found nothing significant, Colonoscopy found numerous Diverticulosis on each side of abdomen and getting ready for Laproscopic exploratory surgery, cause I know that they're missing, something! Been there, done that, RE: female issues in the late '90's! Sometimes, we have to fire a few physicians and not listen, when WE know our bodies! As tiring as it is, we just have to keep pursuing answers, when others can't seem, to find them!

Woo hoo and great news dunelover! I hope you're celebrating like crazy. And thanks again for reminding the board through this thread how important it is for everyone to follow-up with their health - colonoscopies, mammograms, yearly physicals, and whatever else we should be doing. SoWal needs us all!
If it hadn't been for dunelover, I probably would never have had my first colonoscopy. Mr. JR will be scheduled for his soon too. Folks, it's a simple test - one of the easiest to do.
Thank you dunelover.![]()
You guys are all so sweet....thank you for your kind words. I know if we would have been able to move to sowal i would have found sooo many kind, caring friends.
Amy, thanks for your offer. It was incredibly generous and we may give you a call. Pm me if you have questions about symptoms.
Anyone thinking about a scope, it really is easy....The prep is the worst part. Screening really should be much earlier than 50, maybe someday we will get that changed.
Thanks again......
We're hoping to come in early May, maybe we will meet some of you then.
I am having my colonoscopy this Friday, been 3 years since my last one. I have been a bundle of nerves this past 3 weeks, I hate the prep, two bottles of magnesium citrate and 3 Dulcolax, yuck! And unfortunately, I have been in what I think is a mild flareup of my UC, which he will be able to see when he does my colonoscopy Friday.
