Fantastic Meal

Our party found Hurricanes via this message board and decided to give it a try on Sunday evening. Our server, Heath, was very helpful in requesting a special menu item--the pecan chicken prepared with grouper rather than chicken. Our party sampled the oyster nachos and oysters on the half shell during "happy hour." The oyster nachos were a big hit! Our entrees consisted of the crab cake special of the day, pecan grouper, cedar planked grouper and a shrimp po boy. Everything was wonderful! The crab cakes are on a par with those at the Red Bar and that is intended as a compliment. Finding Hurricanes on this annual trip to Grayton Beach will be one of the highlights of this trip.

Thanks so much for the feedback! We value the input of our guests and have made many changes based on those suggestions. We are in the process of adding the crab cakes to our menu so I am so happy to hear you enjoyed them! Come see us again next time you're in town!

In the 4 months my daughter lived at Gulf Place, Hurricane's was one of her favorites.

She still talks about the great food and friendly service often; and I am sure we will visit each and every time we are in the area.

It is one of many very special places to dine in the 30A area.
