Interesting that no one has mentioned A-Rod yet today.

Steroids during an MVP season? WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY worse. In fact, it is not even close.

Exactly, throw in the fact that he was banging Madonna and Phelps is an Alter Boy.

I never meant to get caught in an argument about Phelps IQ but rather to have us all take an honest look about our faulty judgement on this subject.

This thread wasn't intended to be about me being smart or not anymore than it was intended to be about how bright or not Phelps is. My points are about society demonizing a plant without fully understanding why they have done so.

QUITE! Prohibition, after all, is what laid down the red carpet for organized crime in USA. Not sure why pot is illegal when booze, pills, tobacco, guns, and poisoned foods are sold legally all over the place. Is it because Monsanto still hasn't quite figured out how to patent and monopolize the growing, chemicalizing, and distribution of it (they and their competitors are still working out the methodologies using corn, soy, rapeseed and the like)?

Very true, but I'm sure if it were legalized you would hear the grinding of gears at the tobacco companies as they started cranking out packs of joints.
