He was specifically told not to use his private email for county business. He did so, repeatedly.

I don't know what else matters, except that this comment makes him look even worse.

Skunkape - I agree age shouldn't matter but politics is not a business for the naive or un-prepared. Sure they can attempt it but they are likely to make stupid mistakes. And I think that's what he's doing. Making stupid small mistakes under a microscope. He has gotten some enemies and they will do anything to trip him up, including unnecessary and wasteful lawsuits just because that's an easy tool since the county always loses or backs down and settles (yes sunshine is important but has come to be overused as a stick?). "racial slur"??? Maybe but n-word is a term when used by a white which man reminds me of vanilla ice and other young white punks too stupid not to know better. You've seen the film in a movie I'm sure where it's said y such a stereotyped character and overheard by a black man who proceeds to get angry. Brannon wasn't calling anyone that but he should know better to write it. Asking someone to resign over it is reaching so far it makes the person saying it look stupid IMO.

Andy - I also agree with you. Serving the public has gotten to be a thankless job which few want to do. At least we still have some servants to appreciate who do the right thing.

Oh, right. Ignoring/defying/forgetting about a judge's direct order is just a small stupid mistake.
It isn't exactly a complicated order.

You lost any credibility with me once you tried to claim the word "n-word" wasn't a racial slur.

This is unacceptable behavior, even if he wasn't also knowingly violating a court order when typing it.

A slur is only a slur if directed at someone.

Unfortunately, Commissioner Brannon's most recent actions once again illustrate the fact that our county commissioners' are less qualified than the average High School class president to look after the interests of the Walton County tax payer, and our county's tax paying visitors.

By not following court orders, our county commissioners cost us all money in the form of legal fees, etc, etc. In the last 24 months the unlawful, unethical, and plain outright unintelligent actions by our county commissioners as individuals and a whole make us all look like voting constituents in a "Banana Republic".

In the end our county commissioners cheat us all when they make bad decisions, stupid mistakes as a result of their obvious general lack of intelligence, and make decisions in which the "cannons of government" shoot their cannon balls through our business storefronts or living rooms windows resulting in economic damage that causes losses in business revenues and/or property values. If this keeps up, we will out simply be out of business.

This is not simply a matter of voting them all out.

It is a matter that every single person in this county should know what each and every commissioner has done to negatively affect the lives of our county's citizens and our local economy. This is absolutely necessary so that the family names of each commissioner go down in local history as the families that bred a county commissioner, each of whom have stolen our economic futures away from us all through their negligent and unintelligent behavior.

WaltonIsOne, can your screen name and run for office! You paint the whole BCC with far too broad a brush.
