Religious conservatives. What can you do. :roll: Certain religious teachings will / are being eroded by science. Denial doesn't work over the long term, in time the church will have to modernize it's view of the world or risk obsolescence.

This reminds me of people who say that they are against Darwinian evolution asserting that political ideologies such as Markism or Nazism are based on it. Even it that were true so what? You can't deny facts of the natural world. For example, some animals eat their young, it's a biological fact. Should that behavior give rise to a new political movement, are you going to deny the reality of various animal species eating their offspring?

IGNORANT religious conservatives - the smart ones can separate religion and science - or use science to PROVE & promote aspects of religion w/o theological conflict.

The real, basic difference here is that since Science has not absolutely proven Einstein's equation (plus folks have shown that it doesn't always apply sub-atomically) it is, quite properly, labeled a theory, not a law.

I don't see that same rigor being applied by any religion to their beliefs/theories.
