Is this not what keeps feeding the racial aspect, comments like this. I saw on a bumper sticker on a car, in the south, Africian Americans for Obama. I thought to myself, now what purpose is that, why could it not say families for Obama or something besides that. That is what makes me mad is his campaign is the one bringing the race card into the campaign.

I get what you are saying, but, Obama's site is designed as such that certain groups have self organized with blogs and to campaign and network with each other. There are Catholics for Obama, Jewish, Asians, Latinos, Woman, etc. Seems to be a bumper sticker for every group who has started a grassroots effort.

People take pride in these, I suppose the same way Republicans and Dems have their logos. Each party does have their set of ideological beliefs.

But I agree with you on some level. Should Obama have put his foot down and made a statement that we are all Americans first? Interesting observation. I haven't visited the store on Obama's site lately and didn't notice all the additions.
