Well you lost me on the cats reference...I was confused...is it the cats aiming the lasers or piloting the airplanes? I was minimally amused, maximumly confused...but then I read some real news: laser attacks on aircraft happen eleven times per day, globally, really. These "cats" are having way too much "fun?"
Cats love to chase laser pointer beams. They will they will literally climb the walls. So if you flash one at an aircraft, they may take to the sky.
I must learn more about cats...fascinating...if you point a laser into a wood chipper?...
You could point one at a loud vacuum cleaner and they would chase after it. A cat would chase a laser pointer beam over Niagara Falls.

As long as they use them to entertain cats, I'm cool with it. Unfortunately, they are, in many cases, using them to blind pilots on final approach. The sheer stupidity of such people portrays the erodement of our gene pool.
I'm not sure why we are doing all this research trying to develop cold fusion or a hydrogen fueled economy. All we got to do is get a bunch of cats (a whole bunch of cats), put them on a treadmill, with a green laser tag ahead of them, and our energy problems are solved!
