Many large businesses are under continual audit. The IRS always looks for money where they are most likely to find it. Many corporations have dedicated office space that is used for these continual audits. It would be unusual for Trump and/or his companies not to be under audit.

The growing power of the federal government is a problem because we as citizens cannot push back on that power very effectively as compared to our ability to effect change on local and state powers.

That's what happens when it's assumed everyone fits a certain mold.
Lars, the reason most people are on this site is to tell people their views and then back the views up with facts. You are just too mavericky for us. It's really just a simple question: who are you going to vote for?

Trump is a politician now, so not wanting to know how he made his money is relevant, especially if he has financial ties to Russia and China. But you can stay willfully ignorant. It seems to be your style. You still haven't said who you are going to vote for, but it looks like your vote will be wasted anyway.
Why must you be an ass?
Trump earned his money before entering the campaign.
Clinton earned her money as a politician.

So, the possibility of him having financial ties to Russia doesn't affect your acceptance of him as the preferable candidate?
Did you hear the latest about his campaign manager's ties to the pro-Russian Ukraine government, and how Trump's staffers managed to weaken the GOP platform provisions for helping to arms to the pro-western rebels in Ukraine? I guess financial disclosure isn't important if you dwell in willful ignorance.

My thought is that both candidates, a career politician and a career business mogul, have both figured out ways to work the system. I am sure most of it "legal", but also clearly some sketchy dealings and questionable decision making for both of them.

If their campaigns were movies, Clinton would be titled 50 Shades of Gray and Trump would be Pinocchio.

The reality is Trump has made such a caricature of himself and has no support in his own party, that Clinton has become the only choice.

Here is the info on the Clinton Foundation.

Is anyone going to take a shot at the original question. A presidential candidate not willing to take questions from mainstream press that is already heavily biased in her favor. What does that say about her candidacy?
