Psychologist thinks be knows a lot about epidemiology. Classic Dunning-Kruger effect. How ironic. And I can't imagine being a person who would listen much less buy into any of this crap. People are grasping for something other than reality. Alternative facts are not facts.

Heres a real life and recent story. . My best friends son lost his best friend from the virus - It was not until after this 37 year old passed away , that the son and my friends family got their first shot. Seven days after the funeral , my friends son elected to get his vaccine but still contacted Covid,. He was in a Florida hospital for 21 days but didn't get better and he needed an ECMO Machine. He was flown by medJet from Melbourne to Hartford Ct as an ECMO machine was only available there. The young man died sunday morning and he leaves a wife, 2 young children and his mom , dad , aunts and uncles. ALL THIS WAS PREVENTABLE!! Even Mitch Mcconnell is asking Kentuckians and everyone else to get the vaccine - GET THE GD VACCINE and if not, don't go to this hospital and take up a bed if you get sick.....Study Science and not politicians like Rand Paul and other knuckleheads.....

The “I need more proof it’s safe” excuse is tiresome and a flat out lie.
There have been an estimated 220 million cases of Covid reported worldwide with over 4.5 million deaths and millions of long haul complications. These are reported numbers so the actual totals are probably higher.
There have been over 5.5 billion Covid shots administered with less than 10 deaths.
The math doesn’t support the “I need more proof” bs.
These numbers don’t include the danger posed by the violence of Antivas toward others.

What is happening is heartbreaking in that right wing media is purposefully keeping these people in ignorance. It's heartbreaking and it's criminal. If Fox and its co-conspirators would simply report the facts instead of their propaganda, millions and millions of people would not be so miss-informed (I am trying hard not to say ignorant). CNN has at least two prominent doctors on staff, virtually daily, giving people information. I don't ever watch Fox, so I don't really know for a fact, but, does Fox News even have a doctor on their regular staff? Doesn't that tell you everything you need to know?
The party of Trump (former republican party) along with Fox news, conservative radio and a few others have successfully created an emotional reaction in their followers and listeners. The emotion of fear and anger are powerful weapons of propaganda. They do not have to report facts because they have complete control of their followers by manipulating their emotions. Brain washing is the old term but what is happening now is maybe worse. What I am about to say next is controversial and tragic but it has to be said. Politics has now entered into an era of sabotage their minds with terror. It is not just power they seek but a resistance to change. The enemy is ourselves or our individual emotions. There are extremes on both sides but the right is more successful. Probably because of the rigidity of religion toward change. Whether we are religious or not makes no difference because most people need some form of hope. Life will end for all of us and no matter how much we think we can handle it we all fear it. So fear is the method of control and it works. Many people on the right now believe that the left is a democrat with horns and they will eat your babies. I am being dramatic only slightly. It is absurd but true. Our democracy will not survive this. We are disconnecting from each other even in our family units! I have hope in respectful communication but it is hard and unfortunately it is likely too late anyway. It will only get worse unless we find a way to listen to each other. People who are getting the vaccine only after close friends or family die of Covid will not change their minds about the politics. The right fears the left more than they fear Covid. We all should ask ourselves how can we help each other not fear each other. But I think we would rather blame each other rather than ask that question...
