Guys didn't this happen in Laurel Hill area.? That's in Okaloosa, County between Crestview and Florala heading north. About 45-30 minutes west of Defuniak

Hollibird, when you lump poachers together with hunters, you insult people. You just insulted me. :angry:How do you suppose that cheeseburger got to McDonalds? I assure you it wasn't grown in a petri dish.
I have hunted and fished all of my life and I follow rules put in place by wildlife officials. This defines a hunter. A poacher does something entirely different that steals from others on many levels.
The people who stole the cow should be in serious trouble. I highly doubt it is someone acting alone. First, the hindquarters of a full grown cow will weigh several hundred pounds. Second, being able to remove that large a cross-section of a cow would take a substantial effort for even two people.
I would imagine I would get a nasty response from you if I tossed a comment out there as I hate all cats or something.
I guess the ones I was referring to are actually Okaloosa County rustlers. However, the deer I mentioned were definitely in NoWal. Unfortunately, the county lines did not seem to affect the treatment of animals in either case. I don't mind hunters so much either as long as they eat what they kill.
Hunting cows. :funn:
Do they dress up like Elmer Fudd? SHHHHH, be vewy qwiet.....I'm hunting cowws......It's cow season....
And I agree about eating what you take. I think about this one with fishing quite a bit. Yes, the limit is 6 fish apiece just as an example, but do two people really need to take 12 fish when they go fishing. My wife and I take enough for a meal and then call it a day.
