Crist Never has Owned a House in Florida

I read in the newspaper this morning that Charlie Crist has never owned a house in Florida. So, he has never had to deal with the rising cost of HO insurance, never dealt with filing a claim, never dealt with the rising cost of taxes.

Explains a lot doesn't it? Wonder why this did not come out during the election?

It came out during the election on more than one occasion. Remember the actual owner of the place he rents was caught filing homestead when one of those papers in Tampa started doing research on the candidates. Had to pay a bunch of back taxes and penalties.

I think it would be nice to have someone in office who has experienced some of the hardships homeowners experience.

Yippie, what else are you looking for in what Crist and the legislature haven't already provided related to property ownership? People seem to beat Crist up on housing, but looking at the laundry list of things he's done since taking office, I'm really curious what everyone thinks he left out.

...and, he has been the only Governor in recent memory who has been willing to "take on" the insurance lobby. He may not have gotten what most of us wanted--not by a long shot--but, I give him credit for at least being willing to try!
