That's a shame. :sosad: His wife just had a baby boy a while ago, and they have Bindy. I always thought it would be a crocodile. Sometimes he got me nervous, especially when I saw an episode of him holding his baby near a croc:eek: I know he was a professional, but it still gave me the willies.

Just read the article on the internet :sosad: So tragic. He always scared me too. He was a professional, but gee you just never know. His poor family.

i was really surprised when i read this on cnn this morning. i wasn't totally surprised he got killed, but i was shocked at what happened. i always figured he would get snake bit or eaten by a croc. i feel horrible for his family and those poor kids.

:sosad: He has always been such a big deal to our kids- we watch him every day. He had his cheesy moments, but he was the wildlife bada$$ copied by all the other TV wildlife guys.

WTF? Steve was freaking incredible! I just knew that if he were ever to be killed, it would be by a raging Hippo in Africa or something, but a Stingray? Talk about the irony. The guy literally handles 16' Crocs and the most deadly snakes in the world, and a Stingray gets him. One thing is for sure, is that he lived with vigor and died doing what he loved to do. I really couldn't think of a better way for him to go, if he had to go early. A death by a Crock or Shark bite would be too gruesome.

I am in schock. We loved the Crocodile Hunter. My friend's son just went to Australia with the People to People Org and he went to his zoo and I think he met Steve too. How sad. Dylan just said- I always thought he'd die by a snake bite. He did some crazy things for sure. :sosad: :sosad: :sosad: :sosad:
