Just from the look on "Brutus'" face you can tell he is going to be/is a smart pup. If i didnt have 120lbs of "poor puppy" laying at my feet right now I would love to take him.

Thanks jodiFL - They seem to be smart and trust me I have one "challenged" dog that I rescued 3 years ago, so I do know the difference. Brutus is a sweetie, he will play for a while, then he wants to lay in my lap, very loving. At a 120 pounds I have to ask, what kind of "poor puppy" do you have????

Hes just my "big red dog"... his mom was a large chocolate lab and from the looks of it dad was a golden / irish setter mix. But one of the neighbors dogs decided to take a bite out of his big @ss head so he is being pitiful right now. But nothing some loves, neosporin and aspirin filled hot dogs wont take care of.

4dogs - That would be great of you could post them on Petfinder.com. Or if there is some special trick I need to know to post them just tell me what to do. I was told of one site to post them on that wouldn't let me join. I did put pictures with my number at the vets offices and a few other places. Tried to be careful to post them where real animal lovers would see them.

oh my goodness. I am in love with Brutus.
If I had a yard and was actually home during the day I'd snatch him up in a heartbeat. Alas, I live in an apartment and I just couldn't do that to a dog. Good luck in finding homes for these sweeties! Be sure to keep us updated.
