Our thoughts are with you & Doug during this difficult time. I lost my Dad a few months ago due to a 2nd stroke, and it is hard to fathom the emotions when a parent's will to live starts to fade.

You know they'll be in a better place when all is said & done, but you feel so helpless to "make it all better". God bless you all and may that remaining time be meaningful.

Christmas 2006

I want you all to know how thankful I am to have so many people remembering us in their prayers. I feel like we are embraced not just here in our own community, but even better, all over the Unites States. You have touched my heart at a very sad time and just reading all your funny posts has helped me throughout the past 7 months.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for all of you. I hope in some way I may get the opportunity to touch your heart one day.

After spending time with Doug's Dad Monday and his immediate family by his bedside we decided to close last night and just spend some time with our own little family. Hell must be freezing over for Doug to close the Cafe....just kidding. He needed that time of being somewhere (the movie theater) where you can just let everything step back and be free to rest for a while.

He's back at it tonight....but it's hard not to have a heavy heart. The waiting is terrible, as I'm sure many of you may already know.

That's enough for tonight....thank you again!!!!

We had are Coldwell christmas party here! It was amazing! The food was excellent and the decor is breathtaking. I must say I was one of the first to be a little timid about the the changes but they went above and beyond my expectations!!!!!! :clap_1: Do not miss the all new D&K's!!!! A real dining experiance!

Thanks Bobby ....we really enjoyed your party! Finally felt like Christmas. It makes it easy for us when the group is a fun loving group and everyone was wonderful!!!

OH MY Gosh BB my Dottie is getting so big...she may be having visitation instead of a play date!!!! But, we can still get my tiny one out for play date...he's fiesty and can run really fast!!!

Can't wait to see ya'll New Year's Eve!!!! Hope sweetie has a great Christmas. It will be crazy and fun!!! :shock: : :funn:
