D&K Starters

Crab Boulettes
Fresh sweet lump crab meat hand rolled into "Boulettes", Cajun word for "balls", then flash fried to a golden brown and served with Remoulade sauce. 6.95

Red Beans and Sausage over Rice

A rich creamy blend of red beans, onions, celery, spices with smoked Andouille
sausage. Served over rice. 3.95


Doug's Louisiana Style Gumbo
Doug's gumbo starts with a dark golden roux and a perfect balance of seasonings. Filled with fresh lump crab, shrimp and crawfish. 5.95

Savory Seafood Dip
Doug's rich cream based dip has a blend of mixed cheeses including fresh Parmesan and full of shrimp, crab, crawfish tails and seasonings that bind together beautifully. Topped with sauteed' crawfish and crab. Served with slices of garlic bread. A house favorite! 8.95

D&K's Oyster's Bienville
A succulent dish.....fresh baked Apalachicola oysters on the half shell, covered on lump crab, shrimp, spinach, bread crumbs, Louisiana seasoning's and sprinkled with fresh Parmesan. This dish takes 20 plus minutes to prepare. 11.95

Stuffed Shrimp over Andouille Cheese Grits
Bacon wrapped shrimp, stuffed with fresh lump crab, then flash fried to a gold brown. Drizzled with jalapeno bearnaise and served over creamy Andouille Cheese Grits. 8.95

New Orleans BBQ Shrimp
A sauteed festival of butter, garlic, brown ale beer, lemon, fresh pepper and shrimp. Sop up the flavors with slices of French Bread! 7.95

As it turns out, my family will be there the same time you are! ;-) Will you guys wait on us to go? They have all the versions of "chicken nuggets" my kids eat -- so we should be ok to take the whole family. Although you guys might not think it's that fun to go with your sister and her rug-rats!

this menu is a WONDERFUL idea! families will love having all of the choices, and the blend of your old and new menus is sheer genius. our group so often is mixed in terms of what people want, how heavy or light the meal should be, etc. this menu will please everyone. can't wait to try it! :D

Foodwise, there were so many disappointment in my last visit to N.O. last month that I cannot WAIT to dig in again at D and K's, and experience Nola here at home--reading the menu from top to bottom just made my mouth water!

Family's? The sign out front says "adult dining". I didn't think kids were welcome at the new D&K's. Am I wrong?
