I don't know what to think about Bernie. He is very far to the left to the point where he is an avowed socialist. I wonder if the teabaggers will call him a Marxist and draw Hitler moustaches on him? Probably not, I think they problem they have with Obama is his melanin content and the fact that he's "exotic".
He does seem like a man of integrity who speaks from both the mind and the heart. Between him, the house, and the senate, I don't think he would be able to implement a radical far left agenda. I would certainly vote for him over any Republican prospect I've seen thus far. He is a little too emotional and idealistic for me though. I'm not that passionate about trying to save every disadvantaged soul from whatever deep shi! they happen to be in. It can't be done, and I'm kind of put off by the whole guilt trip he tries to lay on everyone. It just doesn't register with me and never will. He seems like he appeals most to people who don't have a dime in their savings account.

Bernie Sanders.....The only redeeming quality is that you know where he stands. Does not hide his progressive, socialist agenda versus Obama or Hillary. Would be a disaster for the country but will probably send him money just to stick it to Hillary. Not to worry....I'm still an avowed Republican.

The only problem, the economy is actually doing pretty well and is likely to keep getting better. You know Lincoln Chaffee used to be a Republican, so maybe he is your man. He had enough sense to bolt from the social agenda crowd. He's really a DINO. From what I know , I like where he stands on most issues. Whether he would make a good leader, who knows at this point? I'm not worried about Sanders, he's simply not going to get the nomination IMO.
