I never get these memos, the picky people should be happy if the baseball cap I've got it crammed under to keep it out of my face is its original color/shape. :roll:

I have been know to come up with some pretty amazing (and you may interpret "amazing" however you like) ways to keep my long, thick, self-motivated hair firmly out of my face. Pirate-like braids (not cornrows--just little braids) are still my favorite for sheer tangle-free functionality, but I think I might be too old for that now.
Ponytail and visor (or big hat) for me...
IMO if I'm at the beach and what they're noticing is my functional hairdo, I've got much bigger problems than ponytail vs. braids! :roll:

Y'all have absolutely cracked me up. 
Back in my dating days, I must say I was lucky. Since most of them (which, there really were not that many) are from Walton County and were friends of other friends, I was pretty much able to "screen" guys before going out with them. And, I'm proud to say that all but one "grew up" to be genuinely superb men, who I get along with to this day, 20-something years later.
Of course, since they are all from here, ShallowsFuzz knows every one of them. That makes for some interesting situations. :funn:
If I had to go back to dating, without the creep-alert system I had back then, I don't think I could do it. I would just stay home.
