He is absolutely fantastic..Have you read his book When You Are Consumed In Fire? I laugh so hard at his writings I can only manage a page or two before I am forced to put it down and breathe...

My favorite is Me Talk Pretty One Day. Buy it. Read it. Laugh til you pee.

SO TRUE... IMO even better than Flames, overall.

Wow!, So I guess I need to read Flames first, before I continue with Me Talk Pretty, as I've put down Me Talk Pretty because I too was "forced to put it down...(so I could)breathe"!!!! Good stuff!

Oh my Gosh! David Sedaris is one of my all-time favorites!

The first DS book I read was "Naked," which I read on a long airplane flight. I was seated next to a prim and proper older woman who was reading some sort of religious book. I kept laughing out loud while I was reading, and the more I tried to stop, the worse it got. She kept trying to sneak a peek at what I was reading, but I didn't want her to see it and get offended. Oh, it makes me smile just to think of that plane flight.

I have read every one of his books and New Yorker columns. He cracks me up!
