I swear I do not remember springing forward and falling back when I was a kid. Did we always do this? :dunno:

I remember it! Of course, I've had sleep issues since I was old enough to remember, too. Any time you grant me an extra hour of sleep or rob me of it, I'm going to remember it. It was always an issue around my house because of church, too--we were afraid of being late/early after the time changed on Saturday night.

I'm looking forward to the change. I've never really liked it. I hate getting up in the dark, and since we're on the western edge of the time zone it seems like it stays light way too long at night anyway.

My, my you are an inquisitive SoWalller tonight. Did someone serve you beetlejuice cocktail tonight?? :rotfl:

I think you must have lived in Indiana, not Texas, when you were a kid! We never ever ever turned our clocks backwards or forwards or sidewards or anywards until we got a Republican governor who insisted we get modern with the rest of the country. It's been a few years now and people still haven't stopped grousing about it. Or hailing it as the best thing since sliced bread. DST is the great divider in Indiana. I won't complain about it since it's here, but you never heard me complain the lack of it, either. ;-)

DD is bored. Mr. DD is in Yankeeland on business.

Y'all know I hate daylight savings time in the winter. Stupid, stupid stupid. It's still dark when you wake up and come home anyway. So, I don't do either.

:wave:I guess I did live in Indiana! Either that, or I was too busy being a kid. I just don't really remember it at all!

All it means to me is that I will have to start drinking earlier at B&A's for sunset cocktails. :D

I adore DST. For those of us who don't drive particularly well after dark, it's a major PITA for it to be dark at 5:00.

The only redeeming factor is that, at Christmas, you don't have to wait until 8:30 to go out and look at lights.
