Cincy Beach Girl got me out of my Nike slump a year ago and I am sold. The free shoes to people in third world countries is why I get the ugly tan ones. If one must put an ugly shoe on their foot, it should benefit someone else.

Very succint! And, I confess there is one in every crowd as I do not like birkenstocks either - had a pair a few years ago - make my butt look bigg. And, that is a no-no around here! ;-) I do seem to be the one on the fence, huh??? Please note: I judge you not for your ugly crocs, ugly faux crox or those birks~~~~~~~~I love you despite your choice in crocs, faux croc and birks

Ahem...how exactly would Birkenstocks make your butt look big? Do regular flat sandals have the same effect?

In my case, there's no "looking" big about it, it just is. I stopped checking the rear angle in the mirror after I graduated from misses' sizes to the jumbo department. Ignorance is bliss.

I totally agree. Birkenstocks make my butt look big, too. However, crocs make my ankles look small.

Yeah - would have to, they are so wide. I think I would trip over crox.

That guy (snob guy) from the fashion runway show (it's not on free TV, but is a reality show sortof - do you know what I am talking about? LOL), was on one morning with Regis and Kelly and Kelly made him put on a pair of crocs! He almost died said something like they were God-Awful, Hideous Things! He was truly mortified! It was very funny~~~~~~
