On another thread, not in the lounge, there have been some personal attacks. I think I am guilty of one or two. Sorry. As someone else posted, let's remember that we are all people, at least most of us (riverotter = animal), and one opinion is no greater than another. It is possible to disagree with a comment without beating up the person who states that which is on their mind. Someone once told me that opinions are like a_sholes, everybody has one. Let's continue to share our opinions on subjects. I learn a little something from everyone, and am a better person because of it.

I commend you SJ. You definitely have very strong opinions (as you should) and you sometimes come on strong with them, but the good thing about you is that you seem very senstive to others and always seems to soften the blow at the end. :clap_1:

Very true - SJ has a gift for balancing strong opinions with being fair & balanced. Characteristics that are not shared by enough of the veterans of the board. New folks are definitely hesitant to express b/c of this.

And then I will wish that February goes by quickly, the temperature warms up, the sun comes out, and all our good nature is quickly restored. Winter sucks when you are a beach lover. It makes for short fuses and feelings of martyrdom.

Message boards are a bit different than normal communication to say the least. The main thing is not to jump at the bait. The few biting comments I see, whether warranted or not, should be ignored.
