I wish that she were all better and up to seeing Disney on Ice Sunday but I guess that will have to wait for another time. She turns 5 in June and so fare Princess cup cakes and Rainbow cake are on her menu. At the moment the wheel chair is rather drab but she will have it spiffed up in no time.
Thank you all for your prayers and kindness. I am just so thankful to everyone who took the time to think of my girl. Jim Carter is cool, I know this because Nevaeh said so!

If I thought she was up to it we would be there. She has been planing it for a wile. I think we will keep our eyes out for the next fun thing to do. We will be in Pensacola a lot for a wile and we don't want to make it all about the doctor's office if we can help it so we will be looking for some easy fun things to do with her. It's a good thing she is more of an Applebees kid than Chuckie Cheese!

God Bless you all. When I saw her picture I nearly flipped. My grandaughter Jonna turned 5 on May 1st and she and Neaveh could be sisters. We will be praying that she continues to improve.

i just want to tell everyone how it makes me proud of my community to see the kindness and empathy for a family that needed nothing but Love sent their way! I lived on 3 continents and many of city in this world and have not seen people pull together so fast! Neveah is doing so well, i'm getting first hand updates from Gramma and she's just beaming from head to toe! I hope you all get a chance to see Deli Love first hand and if your lucky see Neveah and tell her what a sweet girl she is and I can tell you! she will make you smile as she tells the tale of her predicament! Can you say Tough Kid!

Jim, you have no idea how much your support has meant to me and to my family. You pulled this community together to make the love happen.
The support of this community is always outstanding. I don't have the words to use to express how much a smile or an assurance of prayers has meant.
Nevaeh will be in Pensacola Wednesday and Thursday for doctors appointments. I know the bigger issue right now is her legs and the growth plate issue. Please pray and if anyone knows more about growth plate injuries, contact me. I need a good reference, I either find stuff too far advanced to bring down to earth or message board stuff that is scattered. I am usually good at research but I am off my game a little. My LPN years are far behind me and I worked geriatrics. No growth plate issues there.

Got word from Sis in Pensacola. Nevaeh had x rays done on her knees today and all looks fine. The doctors said that to get those breaks, she had to have landed on her feet first. They plan to take the casts off in 3 weeks and monitor her growth for the next year. Tomorrow she sees the doctors that is taking care of her sweet little face. I know everything there is fine but please keep up the prayers and good thoughts.
Again, thank you all so much! I think some of you know how this child touched my heart when she was born. She was stunning, it was the only way I could describe her then and it still fits.

Nevaeh had another appointment today, The ENT is satisfied that she will be just fine, in time. She has to avoid sinus infections for now because of the damage done there. All the bones are healing well and only one might be off a fraction, he had to really look to find it. The OTC product for scaring and lots of Sunscreen should help with the abrasions and if anything needs doing to clear anything up, they will know after a few months and it will be done.
