Except we won't be able to develop as I recall.Makes Walton County's purchase of the 300 feet of beach at the Eastern Lake outfall for $9.5 million early this year look like not a bad buy.
The last I heard there were still plans to develop the Eastern Lake outfall property as a public beach access and workshops were going to be held to take public input on what people would like to see. I believe beachgoers are using the property as it is, though.Except we won't be able to develop as I recall.
I was thinking it wouldn't be able to handle parking or restrooms etc. Maybe a few spaces on the shoulder. The last I heard there were still plans to develop the Eastern Lake outfall property as a public beach access and workshops were going to be held to take public input on what people would like to see. Permitting may be challenging depending on what plans they decide to pursue. It is just being referred to as the Eastern Lake beach property for now.I was thinking it wouldn't be able to handle parking or restrooms etc. Maybe a few spaces on the shoulder.
Has it got an official name from TDC?

Their lawyers will forbid such behavior, lest someone mistake their actions as supporting Customary Use.I'm sure the homeowners on San Roy are about to become HUGE environmentalists.
