Dining with senior parents on 30A

Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club restaurant on the beach is usually a favorite of "seniors" and "juniors" alike. I agree with Yanni's and Don Pedros on 98 is great. My parents like it!

these are great suggestions.

also, Royal Orchid in the destin direction, if everyone likes Thai.

Amore' - for great pizza and salad.

Smiling Fish is a real local favorite - with nice outdoor seating (lunch / dinner is Friday or Friday and Sat now? not sure).

We brought my 62 yr old mom with us on this last trip. While she's not exactly elderly, she still has problems with large crowds and loud music/people.
We ate at Yianni's, and she loved it. We did sit in the smaller room (not the one with the bar), and got there a little later on a weeknight, so it wasn't really that crowded. We also ate at Pompano's in Panama City, it's a bit of a drive but they have very good fried seafood, and it's a really quiet atmosphere.

My Mom is 78 and my Dad turned 80 in SoWal in August. We also had two of my aunts' late 70's. Believe it or not they liked the Red Bar at lunch. We went about 1:30, not too crowded then.

our in-laws enjoy the acme oyster place at baytowne wharf, they don't like crowds or loud music either... they enjoy sitting outside and watching the people go by

I hear Wild Olives has wonderful take out available any time after 11am. chicken pot pie, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, and several items - I haven't tried it yet... just heard a few folks rave about it.

I had the chicken pot pie last week for the first time. !@#! I can't believe I've missed out on it this long. So good...MMM.
