Direct TV v. AT&T U-Verse

U-Verse is now available in our area, here in Dallas. Is anyone using this service, yet? I am looking for some feedback, especially from anyone who has switched from Direct TV to this new service. I have the potential for BIG savings and hopefully, a better dsl line to boot! The monopoly of AT&T would be complete as I have my landline, cellphone and internet with them, now.

Didn't Johnrudy switch to that a few months back and it was a royal pain? Seems like every new service is always bogged down in unexpected problems. Give it a few months and let GW and Laura work out the kinks.

nope, not me. You must be thinking of John R. Ha, for some reason people get us confused with each other. I can't imagine why.

Hmm I know it wasn't John R or we would have the AT&T instead of Mediacon. I know it was someone in the Chi town vicinity. I think.

Thanks, anyway....Mr. K sent me a link to a comparision of the two and we will stick with Direct TV for now, until the kinks are worked out. I am going to call about our dinosaur modem.
