over the last 10+ years, we have watched a house slowly disintegrate. it is at the santa clara beach walkover - as you stand on the boardwalk facing the beach, it is immediately to your right, overlooking the ocean. i don't think it has ever been lived in. it looks like it is going to implode. why does the county allow this? we have heard for many years that it belongs to a famous singer. but so what? even if it is paid for, and property taxes paid every year - it is an eyesore, and possibly dangerous. it is certainly right in front of all tourists who use this walkover. what is the story??

The Santa Clara walk over is in Seagrove and is also the regional access. There's usually coffee available in the men's room.

As usual it sounds like someone's looked at a name and thought "Oh that must be the famous person by the similar name!"

Are you referring to this parcel? http://qpublic6.qpublic.net/qpmap4/...rs=parcels+parcel_sales+aerials+roads&mapmode

Unfortunately you'll have to start filing complaints with Code Enforcement and keep on them. For some reason you have to practically harass them to get anything done. Good luck.
