It was so hot in Palm Springs the Betty Ford Center said, "Screw it, open the bar. Drinks for everybody?

It's so hot the eggs jumped out of the frying pan onto the sidewalk.

It is so hot the waterbugs are lined up in front of the pool like they are waiting to get on a amusement park ride.

It's hotter than a whore on dollar night.

Too funny DD!! I got in my car the other day and it said it was 110. Then I drove for about 8 minutes without seeing one person or car. It was creepy.

As my friend likes to say, "It's Africa Hot!" I just presume that means really, really hot! I just heard thunder and am hopeful we get rain. Our 'plenty of water' is quickly turning into another drought......we had exactly a 12 mo. reprieve. Seven year drought that literally starts every eight years!

I had dinner with a friend who was in Africa on a 2 week safari in July, I asked about this whole Africa hot thing and she said it's way the hell hotter in Texas than it was in Africa. They needed a jacket in the evenings in Africa-not an issue here in Texas!
