just make up and ending and put it down mermy - nobody will know any different so embellish away :D

I tried to make up an ending but I can't!!! All because I couldn't get myself to be sympathetic to either of them and no tragic love story's good unless it tugs at your heartstrings.

I mean, think of it. She's young and beautiful and her sobbing is prettily pathetic, but what girl in her right mind would trust a guy with directions? Everyone knows the male sex are totally unreliable in that aspect. Look at Columbus and see where he ended up. Not exactly the right Spice Islands.

So she's following him onto a bus and depending on him to get her to her precious appointment but it's obvious he's not 100% sure of where he's going or why would he be bugging the bus driver? And SHE has to be somwhere absolutely essential but SHE doesn't know how to get there either??? And if you had a girlfriend with major waterworks would you flirt with danger and run the risk of provoking her by not consulting your CTA bus map first?

All I know about this story is that one sorry young man obviously wasn't going to get any that night.

We had several interesting incidents with our police scanner and various neighbors' cordless phones back in the 90's...can't elaborate for fear that any of the parties might be sowallers.

Of course, not all was juicy gossip. I overheard my aunts making fun of my inlaws before my baby shower. :pissed: After I confronted one of them about it (not explaining how I knew, of course) I also heard her calling my other aunt and my cousin to find out which one of them told me. What goes around, comes around. :D

Occasionally, the baby monitor would pick up the neighbors' phone/monitor. Hmmmmm. If you live in a neighborhood with lots of babies, you'd know everybody's business.

Oh yeah. Baby monitors. When my nephew was 18 and living with us, he switched the wires (or whatever) around in a couple of intercoms so that he could listen to the activities in our bedroom.

I would have been mortified, except for that there had been nothing for him to hear, except a lot of snoring and an occasional fart. He eventually gave up. :rotfl:

We got him back...Fuzz put a wire on him and put him on a picnic table at the wayside park on 331, as "dirty old man" bait. That tape was priceless. :D Those were the days...
