My insurance company called yesterday AM and said they hadn't received my check and they were cancelling my coverage!
Heh, heh, heh - can I just tell you how badly I went off on them? They called back within an hour and had received the check afterall............go figure! Could you imagine trying to battle that one?

Man, I hear ya' on that one! gttbm and I went to Target last week and my credit card was DENIED, twice! Turned out they had put a block on it because Cato Boy had ordered some book that morning from an online periodical source in Great Britain!

I am sure glad there was no damage to your house and the pets were alright. I'd definitely get the alarm company to check everything out. I had one for years and it never malfunctioned like yours has.
