    Pharmacy Technician/ Billing Adjudicator - Single Position – Santa Rosa Beach, FL

    The Billing Adjudicatoris responsible for receiving, preparing and submitting claims for accounts andworks with staff, physician offices, and insurance companies to ensure timelypayment of online submission of claims.

    • Review and research rejected Third-Party claims taking appropriate action to resolve.
    • Work backlog of denied claims for timely resubmission.
    • Manage assigned queues keeping up-to-date and current on all claims.
    • Workflow grid is cleared daily to meet productivity criteria
    • Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
    • Display behavior which exemplifies the Core Values.
    • Other duties as deemed necessary
    The person isresponsible for the above items as well as the clinical items below:

    Assists the pharmacistin maintaining compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations,accrediting body standards and Policy and Procedures.


    * High school diploma orequivalent required; some college is preferred.
    * At least two years experience(or combination of education and experience) as a pharmacy technician.
    * State registration andNational pharmacy technician certification required.
    * Organization skillsincluding the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamicenvironment
    * Ability to effectivelyand harmoniously interact with facility, group, division and company managementand other employees at all levels; promotes teamwork and demonstrates strongprofessionalism
    * Ability to work andproduce results under pressure
    * Basic computer skills,including fundamental knowledge of Windows based software programs, includingbut not limited to word processing and spreadsheet applications
    * Ability to adhere toregulatory and company compliance, Code of Conduct and Business Ethics(OSHA,DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, etc.​)


    The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Ability to communicate,perform and comprehend variables within the pharmacy operation. The employeefrequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must frequentlylift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25pounds.
