Attached are two possibilites for curtains in my kitchen and breakfast room. My kitchen/breakfast room are a soft green with yellow undertones. I think the fabric with the monkeys is light and whimsical, but the monkeys are a bit frightening ....think Wizard of Oz. The other fabric has a nice variety of colors, but I am not wild about it. I am up for suggestions or thoughts.

Not a fan of the monkey print. I like the one on the left better.

To be honest my dear...I don't really like either of them. I just don't like "prints" I personally would rather have a plain contrasting color. But, that is just me.

I like the colors in both, but the fabric on the left is way outdated so I wouldn't use it, and like everyone else, something about monkeys in fabric is yukky to me. You shouldn't have too much trouble, though, finding other fabrics with similar colorways. Do you have a Calico Corners by you? They always have such nice stuff and the staff is always helpful with design advice.

IMHO, keep looking. You might look for something not quite so busy, as you will not tire of it quickly. Monkeys are scary, just ask Dorothy.

Thanks for the comments. For some reason I have had a terrible time deciding what to use. I really want just valance, not heavy curtains. I cannot find what I "feel" looks good.:bang: I guess the old saying "When in doubt, do without" applies here.

I've used them for many window treatments in our house. They've been wonderful & dependable.

And I liked your first choice, but then again I'm wild about anything paisley or similar to paisley.
